Yes, it’s possible to transfer your progress between two different devices. Before you do this, please be aware that this is a permanent and irreversible process: if you transfer your account to another device, this other device will always have access to your account and it won't be possible for you to remove their access. Please never share your account ID or link code with anyone else, and only transfer your progress to another device you own.
Transferring between devices on the same platform (eg iOS to iOS; Android to Android)
Progress is synced between devices on the same platform using the tools the platform holders provide - Google Play Games on Android, or Game Center on iOS. Simply visit the Account tab in the settings menu in Sonic Forces, then tap Connect to link your game to your Google Play or Game Center account. Then, sign into the same Google Play or Game Center account on your second device and your progress will automatically be restored.
Note that for legal reasons this feature isn't available to players who are under 13 years old. If you cannot access the Accounts tab in your game, please contact SEGA’s support team for more help with your account transfer.
Transferring between platforms (eg from iOS to Android, or from Android to iOS)
You can transfer your account between platforms using the ""Link Devices"" button in the Account tab of the Settings menu. Before you do so, take a screenshot of the Settings > Support tab on both devices. This is so you have a record of your account IDs in case anything goes wrong when transferring your account.
When ready, go to the Account tab on the Settings menu and select ""Link Devices"" on both of your devices and select ""old"" or ""new"" depending on which device you want to transfer the data from. Then, simply follow the on-screen instructions.
Please make sure you never post your link code anywhere publicly or share it with anyone else, as it will allow other players to gain permanent and irreversible access to your account.
